
CPR and fire handling training was imparted under Apada Mitra scheme
Balachore – Apada Mitra Yojana was launched in the country by the Government of India with the help of NDMA to deal with any kind of natural or man-made disaster in the country. Under this plan, 1 lakh fully trained community volunteers are being prepared in 350 disaster-affected districts of the country, in which 3200 volunteers were to be prepared in 11 districts by the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Chandigarh, Punjab.

In which 200 volunteers are being trained by setting up a camp in Lamarine Tech Skill University at 11th district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. was trained Along with this, the volunteers were also given practice in operating fire extinguishers and given information about fire extinguishers so that they can properly use fire extinguishers on different types of fires. Along with this, the volunteers were also given demo training on fire fighting by the fire brigade. Apart from this, information about CPR was given to the volunteers on behalf of Prof. JS Bhatia so that they can save someone's life by giving CPR at the right time and demo training of CPR was also given to the volunteers. Along with this, Magsipa team today gave training on how to save someone's life by using crouching position during lightning strike and gave information about thunder and lightning.
