Una, December 22 - CMO Una Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Verma has issued an advisory keeping in mind the possible situation due to the arrival of the new variant of Corona, JN-1 in the country. He said that in case of respiratory diseases like influenza i.e. cough, cold, sore throat, runny nose, headache and fever and all the patients with symptoms of Covid should get RT and PCR test done immediately so that the seriousness due to it can be avoided. He said that the health department is completely alert.
CMO said that no case of this type of virus has been reported in the state so far. But there is a need to be cautious. He has appealed to all the residents of the district to ensure that everyone follows the instructions on how to prevent Covid such as washing hands, wearing a mask, avoiding going to crowded places etc. Apart from this, if symptoms like cough, cold and fever etc. appear, contact the doctor immediately.
