Patiala, December 21 - A meeting was held at the Local Government Senior Secondary School Multipurpose to prepare for organizing the Under-19 Basketball competitions in the 67th National School Games under the chairmanship of Sunil Bharadwaj, Deputy Director, Sports Wing, School Education Department, Punjab.
   Deputy Director Sports Sunil Bhardwaj motivated all the officers and employees and said that under the supervision of Harinder Kaur District Education Officer Secondary Education Patiala district Patiala has got an opportunity to organize the under-19 boys basketball competition this time. Therefore, all the officers and employees should perform their duties well and make the organization of the games a success.
   In this meeting, Deputy DEO Ravinderpal Singh, Principal Vijay Kapur, Harmandeep Kaur SO, Amarjot Singh Lecturer Physical Education and International Referee, Jagjit Walia, Balbir Singh Jasal also addressed in this meeting. After the meeting, Sunil Bhardwaj and the committee members also went around and inspected the basketball playgrounds, accommodation places for the players and other arrangements. Members of State Sports Committee and District Sports Organizing Committee Patiala were also present on this occasion.
