
Revenue officers should settle maximum pending cases of land parcels by January 20 - Deputy Commissioner
Una, December 20 - Revenue officials ensure to clear maximum pending cases related to land allocation in Una district by January 20. Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma gave this instruction to the revenue officers present during the meeting held in this regard.
Una, December 20 - Revenue officials ensure to clear maximum pending cases related to land allocation in Una district by January 20. Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma gave this instruction to the revenue officers present during the meeting held in this regard. He informed that Himachal Pradesh government has decided to dispose of the pending cases related to land acquisition from November 21 to January 20 under a special campaign. During one month of this campaign, 406 cases related to Taksim have been settled in District Una. He instructed the revenue officials that the work related to land distribution under a fixed target should be dealt with on the basis of highest priority during the next one month.
Raghav Sharma instructed all Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars present in the meeting to organize daily revenue courts to hear the cases related to Taksim and ensure to complete the maximum cases of Taksim by January 20. He said that the progress report of the daily allocation cases must be sent to the district headquarters continuously and ensure that it is updated on the RMS (Revenue Management System). He said that this work is the top priority of the state government and all the revenue officers should take it very seriously. Deputy Commissioner Una said that as per the instructions of the state government, the progress made during this campaign will also be reflected in the annual confidential report of the concerned revenue officer.
He instructed the officials of the revenue department to organize revenue Lok Adalats at Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar levels on the first and second of every month in which the interim as well as Taksim and other revenue related matters should also be settled. He said that it should be ensured that no matter related to Khangi Taksim and Intkal is pending.
