Special Respect to Dr. Ubrai and Mr. Kathuria in "Rafi Night".

Chandigarh, December 19 - The Rafi Memorial Cultural Society, a cultural organization of Patiala, organized a singing program "Rafi Night" dedicated to the memory of the great singer, Sur Samrat Muhammad Rafi Sahib at the Tagore Theater in Chandigarh. In which singer artist Rajesh Panwar from Mumbai and some other singers gave voice to more than 30 evergreen songs.

Chandigarh, December 19 - The Rafi Memorial Cultural Society, a cultural organization of Patiala, organized a singing program "Rafi Night" dedicated to the memory of the great singer, Sur Samrat Muhammad Rafi Sahib at the Tagore Theater in Chandigarh. In which singer artist Rajesh Panwar from Mumbai and some other singers gave voice to more than 30 evergreen songs.
Some duets were also performed in which Panwar was accompanied by Vanya Narula and Jaspreet Jassal. The chief guest of this evening of song and music was the internationally renowned social worker Dr. SP Singh Ubrai while the Chairman of Vishwa Punjabi Sabha Brampton (Canada) Mr. Dalbir Singh Kathuria presided. While expressing his views on this occasion, Mr. Kathuria thanked the organizers of the program and also discussed the activities being done by his association for the promotion of mother tongue Punjabi. Dr. SP Singh Ubrai and Mr. Kathuria were also honored during the program.
Before this, President of the society Mr. GS Grewal welcomed the audience along with Dr. Ubrai and Mr. Kathuria and talked about the life of the great singer Muhammad Rafi Sahib and discussed the programs organized by the society.
