Giving information in this regard, District Language Officer Sandeep Singh said that Urdu course is being started from January 1, 2024 for those who want to learn Urdu by the Language Department of Punjab. The duration of this course will be 6 months. He said that a person of any age can take admission in this course. The total fee for this course is Rs.500 only. Class timings will be from 5 to 6 pm. Those who want to learn Urdu can get the admission form for this course at the office of District Language Officer Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Room No. 23 on any working day during office hours free of cost.
