General Secretary of Deshabhagat Commemoration Committee, Prithipal Singh Madimegha, while paying homage to the patriots and historical events of the month of December, said that for the start of continuous activities every month from the new year which is knocking on our doors, we should remember the life-struggle of Shaheed Udham Singh and Inspiration should be taken from ideals.
Amolak Singh, convener of the cultural wing of the Desh Bhagat Commemorative Committee, in the discussion, attacked the basic democratic rights of the people along with the attack on natural resources, human labor by the imperial corporate houses, made people aware against the communal fascist agenda and Emphasized the need to consider various forms of art and activities to pave the way for struggle.
The important aspect of the discussion was that in strengthening the family circle of the patriotic memorial hall and in an effective manner, continuous discussions, book culture, singing, color stage, painting, family gatherings, living in the regions and connected with the hall. The discussion focused on raising a strong public voice against the sectarian fascist attacks, which are speaking face to face with the families.
During the discussion, Assistant Secretary of the Committee Charanji Lal Kanganiwal, Vice President Kulwant Singh Sandhu, Committee Members Dr. Salesh, Ranjit Singh Aulakh, Mangat Ram Pasla, Harmesh Maldi, Surinder Kumari Kochhar, Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar, Germanjit, Dr. Jagjit Singh Cheema, Some four dozen thinkers including Master Muni Lal, Awasthi, Master Joginder Singh, Paramjit Kalsi, Joga Singh, Bimala Roy participated.
In the deliberations, resolutions were passed and demanded that the genocide of the Palestinian people should be stopped immediately. The intellectuals should be released. Freedom of thought and restrictions on social media should be stopped.
Conclusively commenting on the discussion, the president of the committee, Ajmer Singh, said that there is a great need for people's cooperation to carry out the work keeping in mind the basic framework of the committee. Expressing his happiness, he said that more sincere efforts will be made in the light of your ideas and suggestions in the future to expand the support given to the committee by the people.
