
3457 cases settled on the spot in National Lok Adalat

Under the supervision of Legal Services Authority Kamaldeep Singh Dhaliwal, National Lok Adalat was established at District Court Complex Nawanshahr and Sub-Division Court Tehsil Balachore.
On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kanwaljit Singh Bajwa inspected all the benches of the National Lok Adalat. During this National National Court, 3457 cases out of 3902 cases of different types were settled by 11 batches with mutual consent of both parties and awards of Rs. 5,01,59,701 were pronounced. Giving information in this regard, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kanwaljit Singh Bajwa said that during this National Lok Adalat, 9 benches were set up at District Court Complex Nawanshahr and 2 benches at Sub-Division Balachore for hearing various cases. went During this National Lok Adalat, Chairman (Duty) Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services) Jasveer Singh Kang, Additional District and Sessions Judge-1 Karunesh Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate Jagbir Singh Mahindiratta, Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) Compal Dhanjal, Civil Judge (Junior Division) Monika Chauhan, Civil Judge (Junior Division) Sarvesh Singh, and Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Balachore Sukhwinder Singh resolved various cases in this National Lok Adalat with mutual consent of both the parties and Apart from this, these batches included advocates as members.
On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman Kanwaljit Singh Bajwa said that the special purpose of this National Lok Adalat is to decide court cases through compromise, resignation, so as to save the money and time of the concerned parties as well as their mutual satisfaction.
