Helped sick patients financially

SAS Nagar, December 4 - Maa Annapurna Seva Samiti Mohali provided financial assistance to the sick patient in New OPD of PGI Chandigarh.

Giving information in this regard, Brij Mohan Joshi said that patient Rangi Ram (age 51 years), a resident of Himachal Pradesh, is undergoing treatment in PGI. Rangi Ram has a lower body problem due to an accident due to which he is dependent on a wheel chair.

They said that Rangi Ram's wife came in contact with Nirmala Devi, a member of the Samiti, during the monthly langar, during which she told about her husband's illness and appealed to the Samiti for help in treatment due to financial hardship. He said that the committee went to the PGI and gave Rs 11,000 in cash to Rangi Ram and his wife for treatment. Anita Joshi, Neena Garg, Nirmala Devi, Saroj Bala, Bina Dhiman, Meenu Sharma were present on this occasion.
