The decision regarding this has been taken in the meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal Mohali Constituency Chief Sevadar Parvinder Singh Sohana under the chairmanship of Mohali Constituency Organization. Advocate Simranjit Singh Chandumajra specially participated in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Parvinder Singh Sohana said that Mohali constituency will always be indebted to Sardar Badal, who spent 2500 crore rupees for the development of Mohali's infrastructure during his government. He said that many big works including international airport of Mohali, sports stadium bus stand in Mohali, widening and doubling of the main road of Mohali were done during Sardar Badal's government.
He said that the succeeding governments have only tried to reap the benefits of the development done by the Akali Dal and have not broken even. He said that the memory of such a distant Chief Minister who used to take all sections together and keep them together will always remain in the hearts of the people of Punjab including Mohali and his contribution to Punjab can never be forgotten. On this occasion, the city president Kamaljit Singh Ruby said that a huge blood donation camp will be organized on December 8 at Gurdwara Amb Sahib after the recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji.
