Patiala, December 3 - On the occasion of the International Day of Disability at the local Patiala School of Deaf and Blind, the sweep team was given the message of voter registration through the Saksham app to vote Saksham Ho. On this occasion, member of State Sweep Corps Committee and District Nodal Officer Sweep Mohali Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal and state icon Prof Dr Kiran Punjabi University Patiala specially attended. District Nodal Officer Sweep Prof Shavinder Singh Rekhi said that this camp was organized today to register disabled voters. On this occasion, Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal said that under the direction of the Chief Election Officer, Punjab, a state-level event is being organized tomorrow at Punjabi University, Patiala under the leadership of District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni, dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. On this occasion, Dr. Kiran Raj Icon appealed to all the eligible voters to vote by December 9. On this occasion, disabled icon Jagdeep Singh President Patiala Deaf Association, Satveer Singh Gill Nodal Officer Patiala Rural, Narinder Singh Nodal Officer Sweep Halka Sannoor and Jasveer Singh also specially participated.
