Balongi, December 2 - In Balongi village, due to non-drainage of the water accumulating in the streets due to rain, dirty water is standing in the streets due to which the people are suffering a lot.

The residents of Balongi say that water remains stagnant in many areas due to lack of adequate drainage arrangements in Balongi village and Balongi Colony. Residents say that during the past years, where many governments have changed, panchayats have also changed, but there has been no definite solution to the drainage of rainwater.

Residents said that even in the absence of rain, the Gugga Maadi in Balongi village has sewage flowing sometimes and people visiting the Guga Maadi also have to wade through the dirty water. He said that whenever it rains, due to the lack of drainage, the rainwater goes into the sewerage, due to which the sewage overflows into the street and then the dirty water of the sewage stays in the street for many days. Residents said that there is also a risk of disease spreading due to pollution. Along with this, due to standing water in the street, people passing by, school going children and pedestrians have to get out of the dirty water.

The villagers have demanded that attention should be paid to this side and a definite solution to this problem should be found.
