Labor Party President Jai Gopal Dhiman, Surinder Singh Pappi and Shamser Singh have accused the looting of petroleum companies in petroleum products and forced the owners of petrol pumps to supply expensive 'Extra Power 95' instead of normal petrol as per the instructions of the companies. Condemning putting petrol in vehicles in strong terms, he said that doing so is a great dishonesty and unconstitutional to the common people and the whole thing is taking illegal benefits against the wishes of the consumers. He said that the pump owners are pushing openly. While there is a big difference in the price of both types of petrol. The rate per liter of normal petrol is Rs 98: 21 paise and the current rate of 'Extra Power 95' is Rs 104: 80 paise. It is also that the oil companies are sending the dealers to sell power petrol by force and then the dealers are selling extra power petrol by misleading the consumers by force and the consumers are suffering huge losses and the consumers and dealers at the lower level. Sometimes there is a conflict. There is a difference of 6 Rs. 59 paise in the price of these two. In this, the government's mistakes and the people are having to bear the brunt. On the other hand, instead of protecting the rights of consumers, the government itself is looting the citizens of the country day in and day out. This robbery has become a means of government revenue of crores of rupees. Dhiman said that by imposing various types of taxes on petrol and diesel, the tax of billions of rupees is being collected. Due to this, the government is widening the economic and social growth gap between poverty and wealth.
Dhiman said that according to the rights of the consumers, every consumer has the right that companies should be required to give details of all types of taxes collected from people in every bill in order to issue bills for getting petrol and diesel to all consumers. How sad that hiding tax rates from people is a huge fraud. He said that not keeping petrol and diesel under the ambit of GST is equal to reducing it in the eyes of the people. There is so much tax in these substances that everyone can sweat. He said that most transporters, farmers and common people consume them. Dhiman said that if the details of X can be given to the consumers in the GST bills in big stores, then why are the taxes hidden in petrol and diesel. Citizens of every country have a constitutional right to receive bills and know tax details. All those consumers need to be aware so that this robbery of the governments and the injustice being done by them can be stopped.
