Chhenvi Punjab State Carrom Championship concluded

SAS Nagar, November 27 – With the mutual support of Punjab State Carrom Association Mohali and Bharat Vikas Parishad Mohali branches, the concluding and prize distribution ceremony of Chhenvi Punjab State Carrom Championship held at Golden Belge Public School Sector 77 Mohali was held.

Giving information in this regard, Ashok Pawar, press secretary of the organization said that Mr. Sukhbir Singh Kalsi was the chief guest on this occasion while Colonel CS Bawa and Mr. Arvinderjit Singh joined as special guests. A total of 102 players participated in this championship in 7 categories.
Laksh Arora, Harkeerat Singh, Ishan Chowdhury got first, second and third position in sub junior category (boys) and Rani Gupta, Arshdeep Kaur, Gursirat Kaur got first, second and third position respectively in sub junior category (girls).
Sagar, Prakash, Pranai Sinha bagged first, second and third positions respectively in junior category (boys) and Mahi Masaun, Gurleen Kaur, Saloni Kumari bagged first, second and third positions in junior girls category.
In the men's senior category, Muhammad Sameer Amritsar, Didar Singh Mohali and Anuj Kumar Sinha Mohali stood first, second and third respectively, while in the women's senior category Sneha Mohali, Alka Sinha Mohali and Pinky Mohali secured the first, second and third positions respectively. Anish Mohali, Didar Singh Mohali and Mohammad Shadiq Ansari Ludhiana bagged the first, second and third positions respectively in the veteran male category.
On this occasion, Mr. Satish Vij welcomed the guests. General Secretary of the organization Mr. Gurinder Singh gave information about the championship. Shri Gurdeep Singh honored the players, referees and managers by giving badges and certificates.
