On the occasion of Prakash Purab, special Diwans were decorated in different Gurdhams, in which various ragi, dhadi jathas, kwishars, story readers, thinkers entertained the devotees through kirtan, war, katha, kavishri and gurmati views. Meanwhile, while addressing the religious functions organized in various gurdhams, various speakers gave information to the devotees about the life, teachings and four sorrows of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. On this occasion, Guru Ka Langar was served.
Meanwhile, the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji was celebrated with great devotion by the organizing committee of the historical Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan Sohana of village Sohana with the support of all the devotees. In the joy of Prakash Purab, a religious function was organized throughout the day after the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib in the morning.
In this religious event Bibi Jasvir Kaur Sangrur Wali International Dhadi Jatha, Bhai Ajmer Singh Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, Shiromani Pracharak Bhai Jarnail Singh Ludhiana apart from Bhai Inderjit Singh Nanaksar Wale, Bhai Santokh Singh, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Shant, Bhai Gurwinder Singh, Sant Baba Kuldeep Singh, Bhai Jaswinder Singh, Baba Deep Singh Kavishri Jatha, Mitra Pyare Ko Kirtani Jatha, Shere Punjab Kavishari Jatha, Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Jatinder Singh and Bhai Sukhwinder Singh entertained the Sangatan throughout the day through Katha Kirtan and Gurmat thoughts. In connection with Prakash Purab, Nagar Kirtan was organized at village Kubhra today. The Nagar Kirtan started from the Gurudwara Sahib of the village and passed through the streets of the village and ended at the Gurudwara Sahib.
