Kharar November 24 - A new transformer was installed in Swaraj Nagar located in ward number six of Kharar in view of the electricity problem. Prabhjot Singh, a social worker, said that by installing a new transformer at New Swaraj Nagar, the streets that did not have 3-phase wires, new poles have been installed and wires have been installed and electricity supply has also been started from the new transformer.

He said that for the last four to five years, the voltage of the electricity used to be very low during summer days, which caused a lot of damage to the electrical goods in the houses. He said that this transformation was approved a year and a half ago, but there was no park or any government place in the neighborhood, so there was a problem in installing the transformation. He said that this transformer has been installed after Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann gave strict orders to the higher officials to find a suitable place and install the transformer, which will reduce the load on other transformers and they will not deteriorate quickly.
