Una, November 22 - To provide better langar facilities to the devotees visiting Dera Baba Rudranand Basal, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed langar shed in the Dera Baba Rudranand complex.
Addressing the devotees present on this occasion, Mukesh Agnihotri said that the priority of the state government is to uplift the religious places of the state. He said that every possible effort will be made for the upliftment of temples to preserve Hindu culture. He said that it is the result of years of penance, dedication and hard work of Dera Baba Rudranand Sthal Maharaj Sugrivanand that so many people have faith in this gathering. He said that Sugrivanand Maharaj ji is such a personality who is knowledgeable about the four Vedas, 18 Puranas and six philosophies. He said that one can find many sages and Mahatmas, but such highly knowledgeable persons are rarely found. Maharaj ji has dedicated his entire life to this dera and has connected lakhs of people with this religious place. With full dedication and hard work, Maharaj ji has made all the arrangements available for the devotees in the big ashrams of Haridwar, Delhi and Amlaihar. He wished for the long life of Sugrivanand Maharaj ji. He said that people have as much faith in Maharaj ji as they have in Dera and Dhune. He also called upon the youth to join their religious beliefs.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that he is no less than Maharaj ji in devotion to God. He said that Maharaj has full blessings on him. Whenever he faces any problem, he reaches Baba Dera to seek blessings of Maharaj Ji. He also called upon the people to invest some part of their capital in the service of humanity and religious works.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that a grand temple is being built in Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple to provide better facilities to the devotees. An easy darshan system has been arranged so that the devotees can easily have darshan of Mata Shri Chintpurni. He said that under this system, Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple has earned an income of about Rs 1 crore within 100 years. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 76 crore has been approved for the construction of ropeway in Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple. He said that all basic facilities will also be provided to the devotees at Dera Baba Rudranand.
On this occasion, he said that for the convenience of the devotees in Dera Baba Rudranand, one kilometer road, drain and a grand gate will be built in the camp. During this time, a truck of food items from Dera Baba Rudranand was sent to District Mandi for disaster relief assistance.
During this, Deputy Chief Minister's wife Simmi Agnihotri and daughter Aastha Agnihotri were present and took blessings of Maharaj ji.
On this occasion, Sugrivanand Ji Maharaj, Hemanand, Bhagwat Vyas Ramakant Shastri, Satpal Shastri, District Congress Committee President Ranjit Singh Rana, State Congress Committee Secretary Ashok Thakur, Block Congress President Vinod Vittu and other dignitaries were present from Dera Baba Rudranand.
