Patiala, November 21 - In order to make voters aware of their right to vote, district administration Patiala organized an awareness cycle rally with the students of Government Senior Secondary School Philkhana as part of sweep activities. District Nodal Officer Sweep Prof. Savinder Singh Rekhi flagged it off, in which more than 120 people participated.
On this occasion Prof. Savinder Singh Rekhi appealed to the people to become a part of the election process to strengthen democracy. On this occasion, debate and poetry singing competitions of school students were also conducted. The rally started from Philkhana School and went to Topkhana Mor, Adalat Bazar, A.C. Market, Anardana Chowk, Touba Dhyana Singh, Behra Road and ends at Philkhana School.
On this occasion, school principal Rajnish Gupta, school nodal officers Sweep Manoj Kumar and Pooja Chawla and a large number of school students were present.
