Patiala, November 15 – A special camp is being organized at Bahawalpur Palace, Patiala on November 20 under the “Saade Elderly, Saada Maan” campaign by the Social Security Department, Government of Punjab. This information was shared by District Social Security Officer Virinder Singh Bains.
DSSO said the camp will be organized on November 20 at Bahawalpur Palace Police Lines, Tripadi Patiala from 11 am to 2 pm. In this medical checkup camp for the elderly, ENT, orthopedic, physiotherapist checkup and eye checkup will be done from time to time and glasses will also be provided. Similarly, old age pension forms will also be filled. He urged the elders of the district to take maximum advantage of this camp.
He said that such camps are being organized in all the districts by the Punjab Government under the “Sada Buzurg, Sada Maan” campaign. The objective of these camps is to provide facilities to the elderly.
