Garhshankar November 13 - The educational tour of Khatkar Kalan, the native village of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, was made memorable by the students of Government Elementary School Sihwan. Giving information in this regard, School Incharge Narinder Kaur said that while such tours increase the knowledge of students, they provide inspiration to follow the path shown by the martyrs. After the commemoration of Shaheed-e-Azam, the students reached their ancestral home where the students were shown the antiquities under the guidance of the staff of the Department of Archaeology.
On this occasion, the students were given information about the philosophy and life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. After that, the students enjoyed lunch in the open park located here and participated in inter-school academic competitions.
