Principal Mrs. Inderjit Kaur Sandhu said that on this occasion, senior class students and staff members took a pledge to adopt honesty in life. Meanwhile, during a special prayer meeting, the students were inspired to be serious about work and try to stay free from corruption and adopt right values in life. On this occasion, the students of 11th and 12th class presented slogans and speeches based on the topic and conveyed the message of uprooting the evil of corruption through debate competition and street plays. He said that it has been 75 years since the country became independent but we could not get rid of corruption. He said that the purpose of celebrating this week is to create awareness about the growing menace of corruption and its consequences. Addressing the students on this occasion, the director of the school Mrs. Pawandeep Kaur Gill said that every Indian can contribute to making India self-reliant by becoming aware of corruption.
