Patiala, November 7: Gurmukh Singh of Vikas Nagar under Tripari police station has filed a complaint against him for cheating him of 17.75 lakh rupees. He has said in the complaint against Sunita Rani (resident of Namalum), Gaganpreet Singh of Kallar Colony Patiala and Chandu of village Baran that the accused have given a house to the plaintiff by introducing another woman as Sunita Rani instead of Sunita Rani's wife Ravinder Singla. Sold and cheated of 17.75 lakh rupees. The police have registered a case against the accused under sections 406, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the IPC. 

Jang Singh of Village Chuhat Police Station Julkan (Hall Urban Estate Phase-2) has filed a report of theft of 32 bore license revolver and mobile phone with 4 live cartridges from his vehicle at Police Station Kotwali. It is said in the report that when his car got punctured late at night on the Badi Nadi bridge near Sanur, he went in search of a mason but all the shops were closed, then he changed the tire himself and came home but when he saw in the morning, The revolver and mobile were missing. Police have registered a case against unknown persons.
