SAS Nagar, November 6 - 14 years of rifle shooting competitions being conducted by the school education department in the local government shooting range have been completed.
District Sports Coordinator Dr. Indu Bala said that under the leadership and supervision of District Education Officer (Secondary) Dr. Ginni Duggal, the 14-year-old boys in the open site competition of rifle shooting competitions, Sangrur's Samrath Singh first, Ishtveer Singh Rupnagar was second and Jasnoor Singh Jagdeo Bathinda was third. In this competition for girls, Onam of Patiala got the first place, Sakshi of Patiala got the second place and Amanjot Kaur of Mansa got the third place.

Meanwhile, Adhyatham Prakash Tyur and Supreet Singh said that Sangrur's team won the first place, Rupnagar's team won the second place and Patiala's team won the third place in the boys' category of the 14-year-old shooting open site team competition. In the girls' team competition, the team from Patiala won the first place, the team from Rupnagar won the second place and the team from Sangrur won the third place. Deputy Director (Sports) of Education Department Sunil Kumar attended the prize distribution ceremony today as the chief guest. They distributed prizes to the winners. He said that there will be competitions for boys and girls of 17 years category on Tuesday.
