Hoshiarpur - A meeting of the Joint Kisan Morcha district Hoshiarpur was held here at Shaheed Sathi Channan Singh Dhoot Bhavan under the chairmanship of Kirti Kisan Union leader Bhupinder Singh Bhunga. In which the farmers' tractor march on 26 January 2024, which is to be held in 500 districts of the entire country, was discussed.
Along with this, the strike of trade unions on 16th February was discussed and it was decided to participate in that strike. In connection with which a separate meeting will be held with the leaders of the trade unions and the colleagues of the federation. Central government's hit and run law was also discussed and the driver community's struggle was supported by SKM. SKM demanded that the leaflets registered illegally during the farmers' struggle should be cancelled The killers of farmers of Lakhimpur Khiri should be punished, farmers' loans should be waived, MSP guarantee law should be made and other farming issues were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Davinder Singh Kakkon from Jamhuri Kisan Sabha, Comrade Gurmesh Singh, Santokh Singh Bhilowal, Inderpal Singh, Balwinder Singh from Kull Hind Kisan Sabha and Sukhpal Singh Fauzi Kahri, Sukhdev Singh Kahri from Kisan Committee Doaba. Fellow Dhanpat Bassi Daulat Khan was present from C ITU.
