SAS Nagar, April 11 - Annual meeting of Cow Grass Seva Samiti was held at Cow Hospital and Cowshala Phase 1, Mohali under the chairmanship of Sheeshpal Garg. In which All India Cow Seva Chief Ajit Mohapatra and Punjab Cow Seva Chief Chandrakant participated as special guests.

The president of the committee, Shishpal Garg, gave information about the last year's accounts and achievements. He said that during the last financial year, the committee has spent an amount of 69,03,183 with the support of the society for various functions of cow service. He said that during the last year, the committee has provided free treatment and rescue of 643 accident-prone, injured and sick cows through cow ambulance.

He said that the committee, with the support of the administration and the government, has been running the cow hospital and cowshed in phase 1 since last August 1, in which 172 sick cows are being treated today. Telling about the upcoming plan of the committee, he said that with the support of the administration, the target has been set to take 10 acres of land on lease in Mohali for cow hospital and cowshed, to start one more cow ambulance and four new cow grass chariots. The meeting was concluded with a special aarti of 51 jotas of cow mother.
