
A man from Uttar Pradesh was arrested by the Patiala police with six kilos of opium

Blockade was imposed at Midway Dhaba near Road National Highway. During checking of a bus coming from Ambala, a young man named Mona got down from the back door of the bus. On suspicion, his bag was searched and 6 kg of opium wrapped in a wax envelope was recovered. He has been identified as Manoj Kumar, son of Fakira, resident of village Harautha, tehsil Iglas district, Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh). A case has been registered against the accused in Police Station City Rajpura under the provisions of NDPS Act. After presenting the accused in the court, the police will take remand and interrogate from whom he had brought this opium and to whom he was to give it.
