Garhshankar: Like every year, this year too a huge Chhinj fair was organized in Rampur Bildo, a village adjacent to Garhshankar, with the cooperation of Baba Shri Siddh Chano Chhinj Mela Committee and NRI Veer, Gram Panchayat and all the city residents, in which various Akharas were present. Famous wrestlers participated. Giving information about this Chhinj fair, the committee members said that a huge Chhinj fair was organized with the cooperation of the entire city and the committee members and wrestlers showed huge wrestling dances. He said that such programs in the villages are a special feature of Punjab. Reflecting backwardness, we all should make such efforts so that the sixth river flowing in Punjab can be freed from drug addiction. On this occasion, wrestlers from various Akharas showed their mettle. In this Chhinj fair, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly, Sardar Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy Attended as chief guest.

This wrestling was held between Jassa Patti and Manjeet Khatri, in which Jassa Patti was the winner, which was won by Sucha Singh, son of late. Harbhajan Singh's family honored the wrestlers.
