Under the instructions issued by the District Social Security Women and Child Development Department Punjab, ITI Ground Chandigarh regarding the provision of various services provided by the Health Department and Social Security Department to senior citizens under the campaign 'Sade Bajurg, Sada Maan'. A special camp is being organized on 10 November 2023 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Giving information in this regard, District Social Security Officer Jagroop Singh said that in this camp, the health department conducted complete geriatric examination, ENT. Examination, eye examination, distribution of spectacles and Ophthalmology services will be provided. He said that the office will receive applications for making old age pension form and senior citizen card from the District Social Security Officer. He appealed to the needy and said that to avail the benefits under these services, the necessary documents, copy of Aadhaar card, copy of voter ID card, one passport size photograph and health department related to the above services if there is any medical history. , that is, if the treatment is already being done, then they can get benefits by attending these camps with the documents related to it.
