SAS Nagar, October 16 - Thousands of devotees attended the three-day annual function of Gurdwara Gurshabd Prakash Akal Ashram, Sohana in memory of Panth Ratan Bhai Jasbir Singh Khalsa. In this religious event organized every year in memory of Bhai Jasvir Singh Khanne, the founder of Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib Charitable Hospital, a large number of devotees chanted Gurbani starting at five in the evening and ending at eleven at night.
Meanwhile, apart from the popular ragi and dhadis of the panth, story tellers connected the congregation with the holy Gurbani. During this three days, sister Ravinder Kaur chanted Gur ki Gurbani while connecting the congregation with Guru's Bani. On this occasion, Bhai Davinder Singh Ji Khalsa Khannawale, Bhai Karnail Singh Hazuri Ragi, Bhai Jabar Toad Singh, Bhai Amandeep Singh and Bhai Anant Vir Singh USA graced the congregation with kirtan of divine hymns.
Jathedar Sahib Giani Raghubir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Sultan Singh of Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Additional Head Granthi Singh Sahib Gian Amarjit Singh of Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar were present in this event under the leadership of Sohana Hospital Chairman Bhai Davinder Singh Khalsa. Sharing his views with the congregation, he highly appreciated the ongoing work of serving humanity by this hospital started under the leadership of Bhai Jasvir Singh Khannewala, the founder of Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib Charitable Hospital.
Gurmeet Singh, Trustee of Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib Charitable Trust, said that in memory of Bhai Jasbir Singh Khalsa ji, free mammography and blood donation camp were organized for the needy. Guru Ka Langar was also served on the occasion of the event.
