SAS Nagar, Oct 14: the students of Shaheed Major harminderpal Singh Government College, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar have performed brilliantly during the Ropar-Fatehgarh Sahib Regional Youth and Lok Mela held at Government College, Ropar on October 9-12.
The College spokesperson said that various teams of the College have made significant achievements in these four-day competitions. He said that the teams of the College secured first position in cartooning, clay toy, drama-nagmandal, painting on occasion, second position in classical vocal, Paranda, western guitar, clay modelling, debate, folk instrument drum. A total of 58 colleges, both government and non-government, participated in the competition.
The principal of the College, Mrs. Harjit Gujral, congratulated Prof. Gunjit Kaur, Dr. Jaspal Singh, Prof Pradeep rattan, in-charge of drama.
