SAS Nagar, October 14-social service organization Youth of Punjab organized a felicitation ceremony of the medal winners in various sports competitions of Mohali district during which about 50 players who won medals in various competitions were honored. Aam Aadmi Party chief spokesperson sh. Malvinder Singh Kang was the chief guest.
On this occasion, Kang said that the Punjab government is constantly working to raise the level of sports in the state and better training and other facilities are being provided to the athletes. He said it is a matter of pride for Mohali district that a large number of sportspersons have won medals during the games. He said that all the suggestions given for the development of sports in Mohali will be implemented so that the players here will be able to perform better.
Youth of Punjab President Parmdeep Singh bedwan said that it was decided by the institute to honor the athletes of the district, under which the event was held today in the Temple Hall of village Mataur. He said that on this occasion, coach S. S. Swaran Singh and Malkiat Singh have been specially honoured.
