SAS Nagar, October 5 - Bharat Vikas Parishad Mohali branches organized National Group Singing Competition at Golden Belge Public School. On this occasion, industrialist Mr. Anurag Agarwal, former president of Mohali Industries Association, joined as the chief guest while Col. CS Bawa, chairman of Golden Belge Public School, Mohali, joined as the special guest.
During this competition Mr. Dhanveer Singh, Mr. Pradeep Galv and Mr. Padam Sindhra participated as members of the judging panel. Teams from 9 schools including Mohali city and adjoining villages participated in the competition.
During the competition, the team of Shivalik Public School Phase 6 and Sant Ishar Singh Public School Phase 7 Mohali, participating from Mohali Branch, won first and second place respectively, while Golden Belge Public School, Sector 77 and Government Smart Senior Secondary participated from Maharana Pratap Branch. The team of School Village Sohana won first and second place respectively.
The spokesperson of the organization said that both the teams who secured the first place will participate in the state level competition to be held in Zirakpur on October 8, 2023.
Maharana Pratap Branch President Mr. Satish Vij, Mohali Branch President Mr. Ashok Pawar, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Mentor also spoke on this occasion. The stage secretary was served by Mr. Kamaljit Grover. Finally, the guests were thanked by Mr. Chiman Lal, the executive member of the organization.
