Garhshankar 04 October-In the district level competitions of 'Khedan Watan Punjab Ki-2023', wrestling and football competitions took place today. Giving information, District Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh said that Ali Hussain stood first, Param second, Saksham third and Mubarakdeep stood fourth in the under-20 57 kg weight category in today's wrestling competition.
In the district level competitions of 'Khedan Watan Punjab Ki-2023', wrestling and football competitions took place today. Giving information, District Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh said that Ali Hussain stood first, Param second, Saksham third and Mubarakdeep stood fourth in the under-20 57 kg weight category in today's wrestling competition. Similarly, in the 61 kg weight category, Khushjot got the first place, Nazir Ali got the second place, Kubesh got the third place and Karanveer Gill got the fourth place. Apart from this, in the 65 kg weight category, Goshav Bihal got the first position and Prince second, while in the 70 kg weight category, Ankit Kushwaha was the first, Krishna was the second and Supandeep was the third position. Laldeen competed in the 74 kg weight category and in the 79 kg weight category, Rafi stood first and Samdeen stood second.
Amita was the winner in the girls' 36 kg weight category. Similarly, Angel Rajput competed in the 39 kg weight category. Hargun Kaur was the winner in 54 kg weight category and Mandeep Kaur was the winner in 58 kg weight category.
Under-17 girls in 40 kg weight category Preeti, 43 kg weight category Sukanya, 49 kg weight category Sitala Devi, 57 kg weight category Sargam Heer and 62 kg weight category Arshdeep Kaur, 65 kg weight category Gurvinder Kaur And Simran was the winner in 73 kg weight category.
In under-20 girls, Vanita Devi won in 50 kg weight category, Chetna in 53 kg weight category, Gurleen Kaur in 72 kg weight category.
In the under-14 boys' 35 kg weight category, Sahil stood first, Sahil stood second, Karanveer Singh stood third and Udaiveer stood fourth. Similarly, in the 38 kg weight category, Stephen got the first place and Varun got the second place. Apart from this, Alisha stood first, Kunal Sidhu stood second and Gurkeerat Singh stood third in the 41 kg weight category. Similarly, in the 44 kg weight category, Chanchal got the first place and Tarif got the second place, while in the 48 kg weight category, Amarveer, Dilraj, and Gurnurpreet Singh came in the third place. Apart from this, in 52 kg weight category, Sumit Kumar stood first, Kulrajveer Singh second and Armaan third while in 57 kg weight category, Lovepreet got first and Manjot Singh second. In the under-17 boys' 45 kg weight category, Jasdeep stood first, Harman Singh second, Jashnpreet Singh third and Abhijot third. Similarly, in the 40 kg weight category, Jaspreet got the first place, Gurkaran got the second place and Yakub and Shivam got the third place. Apart from this, Amit stood first, Yuvraj Singh stood second and Aryan Bhatti and Jackson stood third in the 51 kg weight category. Government Senior Secondary School Meghowal was the winner in the under-17 girls football competition. In the under-14 boys competition, F. A Majara was the winner of the degrees. Under-17 Boys Competition F.A. Paldi won while Halwal won the under-21 boys competition through penalty kicks. Similarly, Bohan won the U-21 boys competition while Meghowal was the winner in U-14 boys.
