Patiala, June 24 - International Olympic Day was celebrated by District Olympic Association, Patiala and Society for Sports Persons Welfare at Commando Gym at Village Kauli. General Secretary of District Olympic Association, Patiala and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Awardee Jagdeep Singh Kahlon specially arrived in this program.
 Addressing the players, Kahlon said that players, sports lovers and sports associations from all over the world are celebrating this day. The International Olympic Committee was formed in Paris in 1894 on the 23rd day of June. After that, the International Olympic Day is celebrated all over the world on June 23 every year. The General Secretary of District Olympic Association, Patiala said that the main purpose of this day is to spread the movement of Olympic Games all over the world and to make the sportsmen aware.
