SAS Nagar, September 21 (SB) Meeting of Residence Welfare Associations of Sectors being developed under mega housing projects by private builders around Mohali on September 23 at Fateh Sweets Restaurant, Kings Street Market TDI City Sector 110.

Giving information about this, Sector 110 Residence Welfare Society President Rajwinder Singh and Vice President Jasveer Singh Garang said that the residents of the sectors coming under mega housing projects of private builders have to face various problems and policies of Gamada by these builders. Sectors are being looted in different ways by turning a blind eye. He said that in this regard a meeting has been organized by the Residence Welfare Society of Sector 110 so that joint action can be taken to solve the problems of the residents.

He said that the contracts these builders make while buying plots or houses are mostly one-sided and they continue to rob people under their guise. He said that builders voluntarily increase maintenance charges when they stay and impose various other charges while buying/selling plots or houses.

He said that contrary to the policies of Gamada, property transfer is also done by charging huge fees, which is a direct fraud on the government. Club membership is also extorted from people, whereas it should be voluntary and various resident welfare associations are being called to solve these problems.
