Chandigarh, August 26 Lions Club Panchkula Premier started a two-day eye examination camp at Government Model High School Sector 49 today.

Chandigarh, August 26 Lions Club Panchkula Premier started a two-day eye examination camp at Government Model High School Sector 49 today. Camp Project President Dr. S. S. Bhamra said that this is the 5th eye check-up camp organized by the club, in which in the first phase 325 students have been screened for various eye defects with modern German machines and the remaining children will be screened in the next phase of the camp (on Monday, August 28).  Club Secretary Mr. Ikeshpal Singh said that during the camp all the students from 3 years to 13 years were examined and those children who needed further examination were referred. He said that screening is done so that vision defects can be identified and corrected at an early stage. The head teacher of the school Mrs. Darshanjit Kaur appreciated the efforts and initiative of the Lions Club of Panchkula Premier. Lions Club President Dinesh Sachdeva, Leo Ladi were present on this occasion.
