Garhshankar  Honorable District Education Officer (AC) Hushiarpur Engineer Mr. Sanjeev Gautam ji did a surprise inspection of Government Elementary School Parowal, Government Elementary School Bhajjal and Government Elementary School Purkhowal of Block Garhshankar 1 and 2. During the inspection, teacher attendance, student attendance, morning assembly and overall arrangements of the schools were closely checked. Information about their special needs was taken from different schools by the District Education Officer. With mutual cooperation with the Anganwadi centers running in the school campus, we were motivated to increase the enrollment in the school. The facilities being provided to the students like books, uniforms, mid-day meal were checked. Teachers were motivated for maximum use of eCONTENT through projector in the teaching-learning process. Along with this, he also inspected the Government Senior Secondary School, Garhshankar, the running supplementary examination center of the Punjab School Education Board. On this occasion Mr. Gurdev Singh Dhillon, Block Nodal Officer Garhshankar 1 and Mr. Naresh Kumar, Block Nodal Officer Garhshankar 2 were also present with him.
