Mandi Gobidgarh, September 7 - On the occasion of National Nutrition Week, a function was organized by Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh. Dr. Madhu Joshi, Professor and Consultant, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, delivered the keynote address in the event.
The dignitaries present on this occasion included Dr. Smita Johar, Principal Dr. Amandeep Sharma, Vice Principal Dr. Anil Joshi, Professor, Health Department. Other eminent doctors from various departments were also present in this function including Dr. Nishant Paika, Dr. Sanmika Gupta, Dr. Prachi Sharma, Dr. Poonam, Dr. Rajni Rani, Dr. Pratibha Shahi, Dr. Sunyana. BAMS students also participated in the event.
On this occasion, a poster making competition was also organized among BAMS students. Participants Sonal, Shilvi Garg, Chandni Kumari and Kajal Kumari created posters on nutrition.
