Commencement of events dedicated to 450 years of Jyoti-Jyoti Day of Sri Guru Amar Das Ji

Nawanshahr - Various religious and literary activities dedicated to the 450th anniversary of Jyoti-Jyoti Diwas of Guru Amardas Ji, the great blessing of service and meditation, were started today at Sikh National College Charan Kanwal Banga. A special lecture was organized today in these activities organized by the Punjabi department of the college under the leadership of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder. In which the role of the main speaker was played by Gurpreet Singh who discussed the main concern of Guru Amardas Ji's Bani.

 Later, Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder fully appreciated this initiative of Gurpreet Singh. He also told that in memory of Guru Amardas ji, this event will continue continuously throughout the session for which a special committee has been formed. Which includes Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur (Convener), Manmant Singh Librarian, Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Prof. Tajinder Singh, sardar Baljinder Singh. Programs will be drawn from time to time with the support of this committee In which the students should participate fully and adopt the life philosophy of Guru Amardas ji in real life.
The forum was moderated by Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur and also shared information about other programs like seminars, student competitions or Kirtan Darbar etc. Prof. Pooja, Prof. Harpal Kaur, Prof. Unkar Sidhu, Prof. Charanjit Saini and Prof. Harpreet Kaur were also present on this occasion.
