Hoshiarpur - September 2024: Taking a historic step, Member of Parliament Raj Kumar Chabewal inaugurated the water supply scheme in village Mukho Mazara of Hoshiarpur district. Dr. Ishank was specially present with him on this occasion. Prepared at a cost of Rs 44.58 lakh The main objective of this water supply scheme is to provide clean drinking water facility in rural areas.
Hoshiarpur - September 2024: Taking a historic step, Member of Parliament Raj Kumar Chabewal inaugurated the water supply scheme in village Mukho Mazara of Hoshiarpur district. Dr. Ishank was specially present with him on this occasion. Prepared at a cost of Rs 44.58 lakh The main objective of this water supply scheme is to provide clean drinking water facility in rural areas. Along with this, this scheme has been prepared keeping in mind the health and hygiene of the villagers At the inauguration, MP Chabewal said that solving the water problem in the villages is our priority.
1390 people of about 318 houses of village Mukhamazara will get direct benefit of this water scheme. Availability of clean drinking water will not only improve the health but also improve the lifestyle of the villagers. He also said that this scheme comes under the government's 'Har Ghar Nala Te Jal' scheme, which is being implemented to ensure clean water facility across the state. The MP said that modern technology has been used in the water scheme, which will help in maintaining the quality of water.
Under this, water will be distributed through pipe lines, which will be delivered to all parts of the village. With this scheme, the villages facing water crisis will get relief. A major reason for the success of this project is the active participation of the villagers. The people of village Mukho Mazara supported the construction and maintenance of this water scheme. On the occasion of the inauguration of this water scheme, the importance of environment conservation was also emphasized.
MP Chabewal said, “Water conservation and proper utilization of water resources is the greatest need of today. We should treat water as precious and use it properly. Under this scheme, we will also work to make the villagers aware about how they can avoid wastage of water. He further said that water conservation measures are also included in the Jal Yojana. To save rainwater, many water storage facilities will be built in the village. Apart from this, special camps will also be organized to make people aware about water conservation, so that they can use and conserve water properly.
MP Chabewal said that this scheme is a beginning and in the near future they will bring more development schemes in the village. He said, “After water supply, we will also work to improve health services and education in the village. Our aim is that every village moves forward on the path of development and every family gets basic facilities. Ramandeep Singh Sarpanch, Tilak Raj Panch, Kulwinder Kaur Panch, Sunita Rani Panch, Jagtar Panch, Inderjit Panch, Shinu Kumar Panch, Harminder Singh, Paramjit Singh, Santokh Singh, Jaswant Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
