
Lions Club celebrated Teacher's Day in Government Middle School Chak Gujran
Hoshiarpur - Lions Club Hoshiarpur celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm and gaiety in a small function organized at Government Middle School Chak Gujran today. Head teacher Babita Rani while welcoming the members of Lions Club shared a talk with the students about the importance of this day and said that in our country the relationship of teacher and student is considered very sacred.

The birth anniversary of educationist and second President of India Shri S Radhakrishnan is celebrated as Teachers' Day. Lions Club President Shri BB Tuli while addressing the students said that children, there are two people in your life who are always happy with your success. One of them is teacher and the other is your parents. For this reason, only those students who appreciate both of them always achieve success in their life. During this, a colorful program was also presented by the students of the school in honor of the teachers.
Lions Club members felicitated middle school teachers Babita Rani and Veeran Wali and primary school teachers Om Prakash Gagandeep Kaur and Sarabjeet Kaur by giving them shawls and mementos. The mid-day meal workers of both the schools were also felicitated by the club. The club distributed stationery to all the students of both the schools. At this time, Lekh Raj Sharma, Birinderjeet Singh, Davinder Arora, Ashwani Katyal, Darshan Singh Chaudhary, Deepak Mohde Ratta, Vinod Pasan, Ajay Chawla, Jagdish Bansal and school students were present. The vote of thanks was given by the head teacher of the primary school, Om Prakash. The stage was managed very well by the head teacher of the middle school, Babita Rani.
