Ludhiana - The first Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was celebrated by students and teachers at Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Dad, with a sense of community service. The event started at 10 am. At the beginning of the function in the school, teachers and students recited "Sri Japuji Sahib".
After this, words, kirtan and prayers of the holy book Sri Guru Granth Sahib were offered. Bani Kanth competitions of different groups of students were also conducted in the school and prizes were awarded to the winning students by the principal of the school Mrs. Rupinder Kaur. Karda prasad was also served at the end of the event. Honorable Principal Rupinder Kaur inspired the students and all the staff to follow the path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
