Una, September 2 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Monday visited the newly established Malt Spirit Distillery of Ian McLeod Distillers at Pandoga in Una. This modern industrial unit has the capacity to produce 5 thousand liters of international level malt whisky per day, which will be exported to more than 50 countries of the world.

Una, September 2 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Monday visited the newly established Malt Spirit Distillery of Ian McLeod Distillers at Pandoga in Una. This modern industrial unit has the capacity to produce 5 thousand liters of international level malt whisky per day, which will be exported to more than 50 countries of the world. The distillery is equipped with special machinery from Scotland, which guarantees high quality whisky production.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal took a detailed overview of the entire functioning of the distillery and expressed the government's commitment to the local industry. During this, Ian McLeod Distillers Director R.V. Subramanian and Plant Managing Director Yogesh Gulmire informed the Deputy Commissioner about the production process, quality control, and future plans.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the high-tech capabilities of the distillery and said that such industrial units are an important step towards the industrial development of the state. This will not only increase local employment opportunities but will also boost regional development.
