Garhshankar, August 30 - Giving a big responsibility to former Punjab Youth Congress President and former National General Secretary of All India Youth Congress, Amarpreet Singh Lali, the High Command has appointed him as the observer of Udhampur Lok Sabha in the assembly elections to be held in Jammu and Kashmir.
This Lok Sabha includes Kishtwar, Ramban, Kathua, Udhampur, Doda districts and Amarpreet Lali will work till the first round of elections. In a letter issued by Shashikant Senthil, President of the National War Room of the All India Congress Committee, MP Amarpreet Lali has been asked to reach Udhampur immediately and contact Jammu and Kashmir State Congress President Tariq Hameed Kara and State Incharge Bharat Singh Solanki.
It is worth noting that Amarpreet Lali has earlier worked as the General Secretary of All India Youth Congress and in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, Leh-Ladakh and Himachal.
