Nawanshahr - MLA Nawanshahr Dr. Nachattar Pal gave a demand letter to Irrigation Minister Chetan Singh Jode Majra for cleaning of drains and said that it is my full responsibility to solve the problems of the residents of my area and protect them. Expressing this, MLA of Assembly constituency Nawanshahr Dr. Nachattar Pal ji shared this information and said that I am well aware of all the good and bad conditions of my area. Wherever there is any deficiency in the area. It is my duty to fulfill it. Similarly, keeping in mind the demand of the people of the assembly constituency in view of the rainy season, a demand letter was given to the Honorable Irrigation Minister Punjab Chandigarh Sardar Chetan Singh Jode Majra ji regarding cleaning of creeks and drains. And brought to his notice that the rivers passing through my constituency pass through these villages. In which drains of Nilowal, Bharta, Fabdo, Kariyam, Nora, Paliyan, Bheen, Mahalon, Gujrapur, Durgapur, Kalam and other villages come. Which has not been cleaned by the government for a long time. Due to this, the water of these drains gets blocked during rainy days. The surrounding areas suffer a lot due to water filling up to the top. Keeping this in mind, the drain should be cleaned.
