 Madhur Bansal, Project Manager UIDAI, Regional Office, Chandigarh discussed the use of QR code for Aadhaar verification including Aadhaar authentication and Aadhaar offline verification to review Aadhaar enrollment status and further strengthen the ecosystem. done
 SDM Dipankar Garg directed the health department to set up Aadhaar camps for admission of newborns and children below 5 years of age in hospitals and vaccination centers. He also directed the officials to regularly inspect the Aadhaar enrollment centers to ensure proper functioning. He urged the residents to undergo mandatory bio-metric update (MBU) on completion of 5 years and 15 years of age. This facility is free for children aged 5-7 years and 15-17 years. He instructed the education department to prepare a roster for transportation of kits to schools for this purpose.
 Project Manager UIDAI, Madhur Bansal urged them to update their mobile numbers and documents with Aadhaar to avail various government facilities seamlessly. He said that the document update facility is free till September 14, 2024.
