He said that there has been no solution to the traffic problem within the city limits for a long time.
There are always jam-like conditions in the city. The main bus stand of Garhshankar has become a white elephant as it has been closed for a long time. His condition has deteriorated. On this occasion, Goldi Singh Beharan said that due to lack of parking in the city, huge traffic jams are caused due to the parking of small vehicles. Bhupinder Rana, president of Upkar Educational Trust, said that the migrant vegetable sellers put up their stalls of vegetables and fruits right on the roadside. Hoshiarpur Road, which connects Delhi to Jammu, being the main highway, small and heavy vehicles pass through it. Due to which conditions like traffic jams remain.
He said that we demand through the media that a separate parking lot should be made for parking cars and scooters within the limits of Garhshankar as soon as possible. The entry of hawkers in the market should be stopped by providing a place in an open place for the migrants to plant hawkers. The closed main bus stand of Garhshankar should be made operational as soon as possible. It is also worth noting here that there are more religious places in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and during the fairs held at those places, it becomes extremely difficult for common passers-by to pass through the city.
 Because Garhshankar city is the best gateway to go to Himachal Pradesh and due to its proximity. Therefore, the government should solve the traffic problem of this city on a priority basis and get rid of the problems faced by the people on a daily basis.
