The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor in Saila Khurd. The event commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the recitation of the National Anthem. Shri Mangat Ram Ji blessed the children before they embarked on a march, holding the tricolor flags and depicting figures like Bharat Mata, Rani Laxmi Bai, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. The march, filled with patriotic songs and slogans, moved through the streets of Saila Khurd.

The children’s cultural performances and patriotic songs added to the spirit of the day.
Along the route, local businesses like Guru Nanak Hardware, represented by Narinder Gautam and Goldy Singh, distributed sweets, energy drinks, biscuits, chocolates, and fruits to the children, celebrating the joy of Independence Day. The entire town was adorned with tricolor flags, reflecting a deep sense of patriotism.
At the end of the march, notable local figures honored the students who had excelled in various competitions. The event concluded with a heartfelt tribute to Mandeep Sir and Madam Kulwinder Kaur, who were recognized for their tireless efforts in training children in football and keeping them away from drugs.
