Saroa - ASI Satnam Singh police station in-charge Saroa has succeeded in arresting a person with 20 grams of heroin. Saroa Chowki Incharge Satnam Singh while giving information said that he along with the police party was going from Saroa to Kukkar Majara on the main road for patrolling and checking. When the vehicle of the police party was a little behind the dirt road leading to the brick kiln, the time would be around 3-20 pm.
A person was seen coming towards Saroa from Kukkar Majara side of the main road on foot. Who immediately panicked seeing the vehicle of the police party. As we watched, he took out a waxy transparent envelope with his left hand and threw it in the grass on the left side of the road, he quickly walked back to the side of the kiln on the left side of the dirt road. He was arrested with the help of fellow employees and asked for his name and address. Who gave his name as Ajay Kumar, son of Raj Kumar, resident of Langaroa police station, Sadar Nawanshahr.
After picking up the envelope dropped by Ajay Kumar and searching it, 20 grams of heroin was recovered from it. A case was registered against the said person in Pojewal police station and the person was arrested.
