Hoshiarpur - The first annual function of Swachhta Bin Seva Dharma Welfare Society concluded with a bang at Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Gimpa attended as the chief guest. The society members warmly welcomed the Cabinet Minister and honored him with a memento. Mayor Surinder Kumar was also present with him on this occasion.

During the program, Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Gimpa started the third cleaning langar by the society on the occasion of Mata Chintapurni Mela. He flagged off the society's vehicle, marking the formal start of the campaign. The aim of this initiative is to maintain cleanliness in different areas during the fair and to make people aware of cleanliness. In his address, the Cabinet Minister appreciated the work of the society and appealed to the citizens to pay special attention to cleanliness during Swachhata Langar.
He said that cleanliness is a shared responsibility and the contribution of every citizen is essential. Appreciating the third cleanliness langar being run by the society, he said that this type of effort plays an important role in promoting the culture of cleanliness in the society. During this, the Cabinet Minister along with the President of the Society Ashok Sharma and other members also distributed plants to the city dwellers. He said that the main objective of this initiative is to make the city a green brother and to inspire people to protect the environment. Before this, the event started with the annual executive report of the society by Mani Gogia, the founder of the society and the brand ambassador of the municipal corporation.
He presented the details of the cleanliness campaign, awareness programs and social service activities carried out by the society throughout the year. He said that the society has taken many important steps to keep the city clean and green. Ashok Sharma, president of the society, said that the society has distributed hundreds of plants so far and the campaign will continue in the future. The program was conducted by Harman and Jasmine from the team of Junior SBSD.
He made the program a success with his efficiency and enthusiasm and grabbed the attention of the audience. Amit Sharma, Karandeep Singh, Rajan, Pramod, Ashok Sharma, Geeta, Khushi Ram Dhiman, Dimple, Monika, Shashi Bala, Varthika, Baljinder Kaur, Lucky, Angad, Neelam Sharma, Taranprabh were also present on this occasion.
